I beg to acknowledge the receipt of your letter No. 2673/09 of May 3rd., and in reply to state that in accordance with H. B. the Governor's wishes my official diary for 1909 is sent herewith.
2. I would point out that according to the revised Colonial Office Regulations I am apparently no longer required to submit my official diary for H. E. the Governor's inspection, nor I might add to keep one.
